The types of sales we do depends on your needs and circumstances for example we can set-up an on premise (at your home) estate sales that would be advertised throughout your region and the United States. An estate sale is a more professionally staged garage sale where the buyers are allowed inside the home. We also offer estate sales by appointment only – the buyer must confirm and is given a date and time that they can view the items. Additionally, we offer online marketing which can be effective; but remember, professional photography is a necessity and larger item’s salability is restricted due to shipping. A perfect opportunity to market the home for sale as well. Typically, we experience 5 times the traffic for an estate sale than we do for a typical Real Estate open house. Take advantage of the estate sale to list the property as well. Basically one stop shopping for home liquidation and real estate sales.
Real Estate Background
I started working in Real Estate in December of 2002 when I joined Werner Properties. I have listed and sold properties and represented buyers. I have experience in unique lifestyle properties, condominiums, and residential homes. My expertise with the internet and computers helped me advance beyond the proficiency of long term realtors. I was born in Oakland and raised in the Walnut Creek area. I have lived in the Central Valley for over thirty years. I joined a Sotheby’s International Realty franchise in August of 2010. I choose Sotheby’s for its reach and because I feel that our valley has yet to be discovered especially when people think of places to live in the world. Our area is one of the most beautiful and fertile valleys that includes a wonderful climate and I would like it brought to the attention the world-wide our Central Valley’s value and opportunities. Today my brokerage, Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty, has over 15 offices in The Greater Bay Area. Together with my husband, we were successful small business owners of The Alder Market & Catering Company for over thirty years serving such notables as: President Bill Clinton, President George W. Busch, Vice President Dan Qualye, Governor Duke Deukmejian, Governor Pete Wilson; Governor Gray Davis; Lieutenant-Governor now Congressman John Garamendi; Senator Diane Feinstein. More recently we have opened Ruhstaller’s Camel and the Bear working with clients on their full estate needs. Involved in civic activities and wife of former San Joaquin County Supervisor, Larry Ruhstaller, District 2 San Joaquin County. I have numerous contacts and resources in the greater California Central Valley area.
